Bright Stars Learning Center in Crawford, MS, is a high-quality early learning environment where children thrive academically and socially. We are seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team and create a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for children aged 1–2 years.
Position Overview
The Toddler Teacher will provide age-appropriate care, instruction, and developmental activities for toddlers, ensuring they meet developmental milestones while maintaining a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans for toddlers (1–2 years old).
- Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and growth.
- Monitor and track children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and daily activities.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Mississippi state regulations.
- Collaborate with staff to create a team-oriented, positive environment.
Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an early childhood or toddler classroom.
- CDA (Child Development Associate) or equivalent early childhood coursework preferred.
- Knowledge of developmental milestones for toddlers and creative teaching techniques.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days).
- Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
